Based on the content designed for the Certificate IV Mental Health Peer Work, this 5 day training course will introduce you to the fundamentals required to effectively work with an organisation as a peer worker. This course is an essential introduction for any consumers or carers who are, or want to be peer workers.

This course will be delivered by the Zoom platform. ( 1 day per week, for 5 weeks)

This course includes 2 consecutive, half-day interactive workshops, with a follow-up 1-hour coaching workshop two-weeks post the course. The program has been specifically developed for workers in the NDIS, working with people with psychosocial disability. These workshops help you identity and learn to prevent, manage, or arrest burnout, compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress, using over 30 different tools and skills.

This training will be delivered online via the Zoom Program. A link along with materials for the course will be emailed to the participants 1 day prior.

IMPORTANT: Enrolment in this course is limited to workers providing Psychosocial Disability Supports through the NDIS Enrolment in this course is currently FREE as the program is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services.
